Membership Benefits and Commitments

The quild has used the Cranbrook Seniors Hall since its inception over 35 years ago. We’re not “seniors who quilt,” we are “creators of any age who design traditional, modern or art quilt pieces.” The Seniors Hall space is convenient for meetings and workshops. We each pay a yearly membership fee and by being members of the Seniors Association (no “age requirement”), we can use the space at a reduced rental cost, plus store our library and other resources, making them accessible to members outside of meeting times.

  • Inspiration from Show & Tell - Modern, Traditional and Art Quilting
  • Workshops - in person and on Zoom with progressive instructors
  • Tuesday mornings - 9:30 am free advice, demonstrations, and fellowship
  • Library with lots of resource material which must be signed out if borrowing.
  • Opportunity to learn hand quilting and machine quilting - domestic and long arm
  • Opportunity to show your quilts in our Biannual Quilt Show (hopefully 2023)
  • Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday
  • Our guild is a member of the Canadian Quilters Association

Our Guild is what we, the members make it !!
